Mission Society of New York City was thrilled to bring together nearly 400 New Yorkers on Wednesday, November 20 for our annual Fall Harvest Feast. Board members, alumni, staff, and volunteers decorated the gym for the celebration, opening our doors and inviting our community to help us kick off a season of gratitude.
This incredible community event was made possible by the generosity of Board members Jean Shafiroff and Jay Moorhead, allowing us to welcome neighboring families and provide them with a space where they could enjoy a festive dinner.
“It was a great honor to be able to serve our community. The Fall Harvest Feast is my favorite Mission Society event. It was such a joyful evening and it made my Thanksgiving extra special.” – Jean Shafiroff, Board of Directors
We look forward to opening our doors to our Harlem community again on Monday, December 16th for our Winter Celebration. We hope you’ll join us at 5:30pm at our Malcolm X Boulevard location.
From all of us at Mission Society, we are grateful to our community for making the Fall Harvest Feast possible and would like to wish you and your family a happy holiday weekend!
